Rambling

I think I need a lil blogging relief!!..lol

Well it has been a very busy couple of weeks around our house! Hubby had been working nights and then OT on the weekends and I had to work the weekends too. So the kiddos have officially stayed with "babysitters" 2 whole days...lol It all turned out great! Had his cousins watch them the first weekend and then my dad and step mom came and watched them this past weekend! Everyone said they did great! I was more worried about Gabbie and her attitude but I guess she only gets an attitude with mommy...lol The kids loved this past weekend with my dad and them here! Gabbie kept my dad and step mom pretty much outside! That kid would live outdoors if you would let her! I guess shes making up for being couped up in an apt for 2 yrs! She is doing soooo much better with her NO situation! She has finally figured out that time out is not a fun place to be for 3 minutes of her playing time!! But its kind of funny she now says I dont want to instead of no! She sure has become the lil artist! She LOVES to paint and draw! Has a very creative mind! Makes me stop and think sometimes where shes either heard it or seen it!!..lol Neways Ty is doing good too we got him a BIG boy hair cut Sunday and O MY does it make him look all grown up! He definantly is looking more and more like his daddy everyday! He still isnt walking but is pulling up and cruising well! He uses his push and ride toy sometimes to walk around with so I know it wont be long before he gets the hang of it and goes goes goes!! Sister trys to help him talk.. its too cute. She hears me tell him what he has if its a cup or something and the other day they were playing kitchen and she said Ty Ty Plate.... Plate...it was too sweet! I couldnt help but laugh! She sure has her moments with him one minute she is all lovey dovey and the next its "TIRE"(how it sounds when she says his name) NO thats mine!! But all and all they are doing great! I am going to have to pull Gabbie out of gymnastics because I have taken on babysitting a newborn Mon thru Fri and its till almost 6 in the evening so I dont have anyway to get her there! I guess I will have to put her going back on the gymnastics bus since it comes to her school. We have a new addition to the family too his name is Prince he is a 2yr old Aussie mix very loyal dog and LOVES the kids!! He gets out there n the yard with Gabbie and run along side her power wheels jeep and barks.. which some of that I know is the hearding..lol Gabbie thinks its the funniest thing. She was out in the yard the other day messing with flowers and he just came and laid down beside her! He sleeps by her bed and everything! So the count is 3 dogs and 1 cat! Its hard when you work for a pet adoption center! Thank God its a no kill or I would be bringing tons more home...lol Not really I take what I can afford! The cat though is probably soon to find a new home because one he doesnt do too well with the kiddos he has scratched both of them and came up to my hubby out of the blue and bit him! He is beating up the newest addition to the family and with me babysitting someone elses newborn baby I just dont think its a safe thing! So we will probably be finding him a home soon!

I still havent found anything our from my doctor if I have diabetes and if I have something wrong with my thyroid! I had all the test run a week and a half ago and they have my results but wont give them to me because the doctor has to do that! Im tired of waiting I would like to know. She said I have the beginning stages of diabetes and that my thyroid was enlarged when I saw her so now I just need to know if the test prove it!

So all in all my life is a lil crazy and hectic right now with my job on the weekends plus babysitting during the week Gabbies school and Tys therapy!! I know there are moms that have it more hectic than that and God bless them!! Oh yeah I also have learned now why I stopped at TWO kids...lol Here are a few pics to share of the kiddos and our new addition!

So Wednesday was attack of the black birds or what I thought were black birds!! I know Wendy could help me better with identifying them! They have a lil red orange and yellow on their wings too. But anyways they decided to pay our yard a visit and steal all the bird food!! Gabbie and Ty thought it was the coolest thing!! Oh yeah and so did the cat!! Here are a few photos..

Life of 30yrs!

Well I turned 30 this week on the 10th and I sit back and think of what all happend good and bad in those 30 years!!
March 10th 1979 I was born in Norfolk Va at the time of birth I was taken from my mother because of her drug addiction and unable to care for me so the nuns did. As soon as my mother completed her rehabilitation she took me home! Somewhere between ages 6mo to 3 yrs I was bounced in and out of foster homes! I was able to live with my grandmother in Norfolk for awhile and we all moved to Texas between 3-4yrs. Living in Texas with my mother and her new found love wasnt the best thing in my life as I was abused sexually,physically, and mentally! At the time I had entered kindergarten and was going to daycare. I never thought my new family would be there and they took me in under their wing and rescued me from the horrible abuse and neglect that I was recieving from my mother and step dad! After leaving my mother did have another baby who is my half sister! I went to live with my new foster/adoptive family when I was 5 and I was adopted by them when I turned 8! My life was the best after that! I have a awesome brother! Of course I was rebellous and had my moments but I loved my new family and they raised me right! At the age of 16 my Adoptive mother and father separated and got a divorce and to me I thought that this isnt suppost to happen that I was suppost to be in a stable family! Boy was I wrong! So I moved in with my dad. Had lots of wonderful friends throughout high school and had my few partying days too. I graduated high school in 1997 in which lots of people had their doubts about me doing. In 1998 I found my (sperm donor) and he flew me out to Va to meet him! Not much of a man but at least that hole is filled! I did also find out I have a half sister which I have never met! I met the (what I thought at the time) love of my life while in high school in which he was 15 yrs older than me and he had a lil girl too. So after high school I moved in with him and started a life! We got married in 2001 and divorced in 2003! I soon then moved to Gonzales Texas to live with my dad and go to school in Austin! I loved Austin and had a great time going to school there and going to 6th street with some of my friends! I guess you would say after my divorce was the party life that I was never able to have and experience before! In which I learned quick that is wasnt for me! I was still going to school and started looking for love again and thought I had found it again here in Victoria so I packed up and moved here to go to school and lived with a friend till I could get my own place while working for the railroad in which it allowed me to travel to lots of different places and I loved it!! Then that love went to crap! So I gave up on trying to find love and just thought I would let love find me and he did!! We met in February of 2005 and in the beginning it was hard because it was all about me being pregnant so fast but the LOVE sure has grown over the years! We had our baby girl in November of 2005, We were married October 5, 2007, and had our baby boy February 2008 And I couldnt ask for a better life and family!! To me my life now has made up for all the bad things that has ever happend to me in the past 30 years! I love every minute of everyday of it now! Yes I may complain about the kids and my husband but really who doesnt! I would do anything for my family now!!
So that about sums up my 30yrs yeah it may seem I talked a lil more about the bad than good but that was my life! Had lots of bad with lots of good mixed in!

Toddlers and NO?!?!

Today was a good day! Beautiful outside so we decided to grill for my b-day and OMG I am soo stuffed! We tried something new called Honey-spice Chicken Kabobs and MMMM MM MMM!!! Take chicken cut it up in inch squares some bell pepper and pineapples then mix honey and heinz 57 together and spread it on top as your grillin and like I said mmmm mmm mmm!! Then on top of that we had stuffed jalapenos with cream cheese and bacon wrapped around them and also made some lipton onion cheeseburgers!! I tell you what my hubby can grill! He's so awesome! So of course we invited some friends over to eat with us there was NO way we could have eating it all by ourselves!!

On this beautiful day I also had to go to the doc for my yearly!! JOY JOY!! and then I went out to eat at the Sky Resturant with my co-workers. I guess every first Friday of the month the OConnors treat us to a luch which is VERY nice of them!!

Ok so I have a question for all you moms out there too!! I know that toddlers go through a stage where everything is NO...but to me that was when they didnt really know how to use the word NO in context. Well now that Gabbie is 3 she knows how to use it and she is just started using it very rudely and of course everything is NO NO NO when she is ticked. Well I have started putting her in time out for 3 min with timer set when she tells me NO when asked to do something! But now she has figured out that it irritates me so she does it all the time like if you ask her to back away from the tv shell of course say NO and then I put her in time out and when its time to come back and watch tv after she says shes sorry and all that then shell get in this attitude and say I dont want to watch it and so you go to change the channel and boy you talk about a hysteric fit!! So all I was wondering is if anyone else has had this issue with their kiddos and if its a 2/3 yr old issue or if its just my kid...lol and Lord it better get better soon!!!...lol Neways I guess I better get running I have to work tomarrow so I will post some pics of the kiddos later!

Horses Love Tomatoes!!

Today has not been so productive as yesterday! I have accomplished feeding the kids,taking Gabbie to school, eating breakfast with Linda,buying more fleece to make ANOTHER blanket,and getting caught up on some of my shows!! Oh yeah and picking Miss Gabbie up from school..lol She is so cute.. we were pulling out of the bank parking lot and she says "Look Mommie horses" and I said "yeah those are horses. Are they eating grass?" and she replies with "yeah and they are looking for tomatoes" I said "really horses like tomatoes?" and she said "yeah they have to have tomatoes to go with their grass" I couldnt help but laugh I guess she thinks if she eats them in her salad then the horses do too!!.. That was my cute moment for the day!!

She is getting ready now to go to gymnastics. She loves it sooo much except for when I leave her there by herself in which I did last week(only because I had done it the week b4 and she was fine with it) and the instructor said that she literally threw herself in the floor and threw a fit...Thats the first one(fit) in a LONG time. So I guess from now on I will be staying the 45min.

Well I guess I better go and lay everything out for supper so that my hubby can start it when he gets home since I will still be at gymnastics!

The End of my day!!

Ok so today was a very eventful and busy day as I posted in the blog before!! Here are a couple of pics that I took throughout my busy day!

Ok so Im switching laundry over and I hear this big scream from Ty ran in the living room and this is what I caught, was him being frustrated because he couldn't get his shirt completely off!! But of course he stopped screaming long enough to pose for a picture smile and all!!...lol

And after cleaning Miss Gabbies room this is what I found in the hallway outside her bedroom door!!

Then of course I knew Ty had been in there and for sure it was a disaster again!

I go to get another load out of the laundry and couldnt find the laundry basket and hmmmmm I wonder why??? Gabbie's cat (Biscuit) decided he needed it more than I did!

So that is some of what happend with my day! All and all it was a ok day! Everyone kept me on my toes!! Guess Im gonna go now that everyone is in bed and watch the season finale of "The Bachelor" even though I havent watched any of it but I heard it was gonna be good. I hope it doesnt disappoint me!! Night!

My Productive Day!!

Today is a new day!! I am trying to get things organized and trying to get myself a lil more motivated to do things!! So I started the morning off with my cup of coffee(in which I need to stop drinking) and fed the kiddos!! So after feeding the kids I make my TO DO list(seems like I cant function without one) and get busy!! Its 11:20 and I have already done dishes,dusted Gabbies room, changed Gabbies sheets, put new sheets on, changed our bedding, and put new bedding on, made some important phone calls, done 3 loads of laundry, and still have TONS more to do! Of course in the meantime I was chasing the kids around making sure Ty Ty wasnt getting into anything that he wasnt suppost to and making sure Miss Gabbie wasnt messing her room up after me cleaning it! But then again I know that is what kids do!! So I guess that could be a good thing because it gives me more things to do since according to my 94yr old grandmother that is all I do is sit on my butt or sleep! Which I dont know where the heck she gets that crap from ...when do I have much time to just SIT?!?! Neways so now Im off to put the dishes away, do some more laundry, change Ty Tys bedding, put clean bedding on, water the grass, organize my computer desk, feed the kids lunch, lay the kids down for naps(in which I can get LOTS of these things done), clean the laundry room, and last but not least clean the litter box!!!
Well I guess I better get back to work I will hopefully post more later! I have some pics to post too but no time at the moment!

A VERY long overdue update!!

OK so I NEVER seem to find the time do sit down and write a blog about my kids but I think it is time for me to find that time!! If Erin can do it with 2 kids 2 and under and Kelly with 3 BOYS I think I can do it too!!

But where to start?....Well I guess I will start with Miss Gabbie she turned 3 in Nov and is talking way too well for her age!! She told me yesterday that we needed to go to the grocery store and I asked her why and she informs me that we need to go and buy a cat at HEB!! I said oh really why is that and she said because daddy said I could have one!! Shocked me because daddy has been the one saying NO we are NOT getting a cat I hate them!!..so look whos the sucker now!!! Neways so I told her that since mommy works with kitties that I would look and see what I could find. Well it didnt quiet play out like that..this girl once she starts about something there is no stopping her ...lol So needless to say we now have "Biscuit"(after the dog named Biscuit books)that she named! Gabbie is still in school and loves her teacher and this year is going OOOOO so much better than last year! She is excited about going now! We have put her in a toddler tumbling class and she LOVES IT!! She has learned her front rolls and how to do certain tricks on the trampoline. In which some of that comes from her doing her tricks in her bouncey house!!

We took Mr Ty Friday for his one yr check up and he is doing good and growing fast..lol He weighs 25lbs and is 29 3/4 in long and as the nurse said he has a big head 151/4in. He just started crawling a week before his 1st birthday. He's a lazy baby..lol or thats what the therapist says....lol He is now pulling up on EVERYTHING and cruising so I dont think it will be long before he starts walking. Sister didnt walk till she was 15mo and I know every baby is different. He says Mama,Dada, cru(4 cracker),coo (4 cookie) and gets the sis for sissy!! So we'll be talking more than we need to be soon..lol Ty loves his bananas,graham crackers and his pasta pick-ups!! He's such a good lil boy so laid back and not as clingy as Gabbie was he could care less if I walk out of the room! We are still working on sleeping through the night he only wakes because he lost his binkie so instead of finding it himself he wants us to come and get it..so he has us trained!!

As for Kevin and I we are doing great. He is still hanging onto his job. Not sure whats gonna happen from one day to the next! So I just pray and keep my fingers crossed! I went and got me a weekend job at the Dorthy OConnor Pet Adoption Center and I LOVE IT!! I love working with animals! I also will be babysitting M-F a newborn and off and on a 2yr old. So I will definantly be a busy woman!! Oh yeah and I also sell on Ebay! Have to keep the money comming in!
Neways I guess I better go and get some rest. Seems like I function much better on rest..lol So I am going to TRY to blog more often now I have to find the time!!

~Sorry it took so long~

Well I know I said awhile back that I would be updating but I just haven't had the chance! Between finding a house and packing to get into the new house and transferring everything I just dont have the time.. OOO did I mention chasing 2 kiddos around too..lol

Here's a lil update on the kiddos....

Gabbie is doing great! She finally has this potty training stuff down to the Tee! She is sooo talking more than she needs to....lol Miss Repeat as we call her... the funniest she has said and its my fault..but I asked her to get the remote from her daddy and she turned and got it and said "We aren't watching this CRAP daddy!" And she repeated that from me cause I say that all the time when he wants to put his wrestling on!! Neways like I said she is sooo talking too much. She is doing good in her therapy for her sensitivity issues. She has gotten where instead of trembling uncontrollably to where she will ask what that loud noise was. We are still working on textures with her! For those of you that didn't know Gabbie was born premature and had a small case of CP. But has grown out of it for the most part just have some sensitivity issues!! Its hard to believe she will be 3 in November!! OMG where has the time gone! Not a lil baby anymore:(

Mr. Ty Ty is doing good also finally cut one toothy the middle of July. He still refuses to roll over he wants to sit up more than anything. He hates to be on his belly! He's my lil piggy eats LOTS AND LOTS!! He eats a bottle at 5:30am and his cereal and fruit and half bottle of milk for breakfast then lunch has 2 jars and a half bottle then supper 2 jars and some juice and a bottle before bedtime!! He's weighing 20lbs already. He goes the 18th for his 6month check up!!! OMG 6mos already!!

Kevin and I are doing great! Kevin got a raise at last month which has helped us to be able to finally get us a house! We found us a 3/2/2 with a 2 car garage and a HUGE backyard covered back patio and everything! We are renting for the first year and have the option to buy if we want! And we plan to when we get our credit where it needs to be! So anyways I miss being able to join my friends in the picture contest. But for now I just don't have the time.
Neways I guess I better get to bed and get some sleep since that isn't coming to easy around here right now!!

We had a wonderful time at the park. Gabbie loved playing on the slide over and over. A little update on the kiddos... Gabbie is doing great. She is getting over an ear infection but doing fine. Her potty training is doing WONDERFUL!! She still wears a diaper at night but goes all day with out an accident! Tyler is doing good. We went for his 4 month old check up Monday and he is 16.5 lbs and 24.5 inches long. He is growing like a weed! Getting too big too fast.

Well I better go the kids have awoken from their naps and we have plans this evening. Will talk to everyone later.
